Admission Procedure

1. Primary and Secondary:

  • i. Admission for nursery & smart classes are done at the end of the previous session. Admission is taken in the month of April for classes smart to IX, subject to availability of seats.
  • ii. Admission are strictly according to the prescribed norms of CBSE.
  • iii. Requirements for admission:
    1. a. Birth certificate from the Municipality/ Panchayat should be produced for students to be admitted in Nursery to Smart II at the time of registration.
    2. b. Children seeking admission in classes II onwards on transfer from another school will have to produce a transfer certificate from the previous school along with the progress report of the previous class.
    3. c. Applications for registration are entertained in –
      1. I. January/ February for Nursery & Smart classes.
      2. II. March/ April for class I to X.
      3. III. After declaration of class X board exam result for class XI.

2. Senior Secondary:

  • i. Admission to the senior secondary (XI) section in Pratibha Public School is opened to all eligible students who have passed their class X examination from English medium school under a recognized board. Provisional admission will be made in the last week of March.
  • ii. For PPS students passing the CBSE board exams, previous record of academic performance, conduct & discipline will be taken into account before granting admission to class XI. The mere fact that a student has passed from PPS does not entitle him/her pursue for admission to class XI.
  • Allotment of stream (Science & Commerce ) & subject will be the exclusive authority of the selection committee. The decision of the selection committee shall be final and irrevocable.
  • iv. For students coming from other school must produce a transfer & conduct certificate obtained from the Principal to the school.
  • v. Rules forward by the CBSE regarding migration, eligibility etc. will be applicable to the senior secondary classes.
  • vi. Withdrawal: Parents who wants to withdraw their wards from the school may apply for TC in the school office. TC shall be issued within 7 days of application in cash counter. Signature of CBSE board authorities subject is not required, however subject to the clearance of all dues. (Parents may apply for TC within 10 days of result declaration. Failing which they have to pay the first installment.)
